Dear Sir

UKIP Candidates for Amber Valley, Ann Fox and Paul Bailey, will refuse to sign the Equality Compact being demanded by the local council.   It is totally unnecessary.  We live in a country in which all are equal in the eyes of the law, what else is needed?

If you start down this road you find yourself having to sign 'Compacts' about all sorts of things, agreeing not to shoplift for example. Variations are unlimited, a law to stop people jumping in The River Thames, just in front of the boat race?  

 

What nonsense.  UKIP prefers to rely upon common law which has stood the test of time. 

 

Obey the laws as it stands, nothing else is needed.
